Phishing Scam Targets Credit Union Members

Credit Unions have received reports that members are receiving test messages from a local area code stating “The Credit Union Center Alert: Your card has been deactivated. Please contact us at 717-884-7925.” When called, members are immediately prompted to enter their 16-digit card number. There may be variations of these texts, and there could be other phone numbers as well. Please ignore these messages – they are a scam.
